I am a single Christian woman, co-owner of a beauty salon, which means I talk all day. I don&#8217;t shy away from spreading the good news of Jesus &#8211; whether it&#8217;s at work, teaching kiddos at Sunday School with science projects, or at the county jail.\u00a0<\/p><p>In April of 2024 I had emergency surgery on my spine. Prior to surgery I was warned my legs could be paralyzed and cancer could be present. I thank Jesus neither of those happened. But I did leave the hospital with a surgery souvenir: I walk with a limp. I decided to not let a limp prevent me from fulfilling God&#8217;s call on my life. At my las follow up visit, my surgeon&#8217;s parting words to me were, &#8220;Go live your life.&#8221; And I shall, doctor.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-497e0bdf elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"497e0bdf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When I&#8217;m not conversing about Jesus, our forgiving Savior, I write entertaining songs and spoken word art about Jesus. My latest hit is &#8220;Jesus, Get Me Outta Cowlitz County Jail&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p><p>Gather some friends to hear why I write scripture verses on my body (that&#8217;s right) and my story of forgiveness. I use thought bubbles, humor, spoken word poetry, and perhaps a song I wrote to pound down my message. Plus, I use scripture to emphasize our battle plans to show you how to live a holy, confident life.
